How do I get started with matched betting?

– Understanding matched betting series part 4 of 4

In the final article of this understanding matched betting series, I will detail exactly how you can get started with matched betting in 4-easy-steps.

Step 1 – Make sure you use a separate bank account to your main bank account

To make sure your matched betting bankroll is kept separate from your normal funds and to avoid betting sites appearing on the statements of your main bank account.

I would also recommend Ffress for an easy to set up online bank account that is available to people with low credit scores.

Paypal is also handy to have. If you don’t have a Paypal account sign up for one of those, although this is not essential.

Step 2 – Sign up to these two betting exchanges, Betfair and Smarkets.

You will need accounts at these two betting exchanges to place lay bets.

If you sign up to Smarkets (only 2% commission charged), you will get a refund of £10 for your first losing bet.

Sign up Betfair and get a free £20 bet.

Step 3 – Click this link. Watch the video and sign up for a free trial with this matched betting service to earn £45 without paying a penny.

Step 4 – Once you have completed the full trial sign up for a full account.

The monthly fee for the Platinum account is £22.99.

You can also pay annually a fee of £150 which is what I did as it is a saving of £125.88 over the course of the year. The monthly amount works out at just £12.50 for this option.
